TIPS Academy is your entry door into the hospitality industry. Founded and led by an industry professional with over 30 years of experience, TIPS Academy prepares participants to succeed in their first front-of-house hospitality role.

Whether you are a student, new to Vancouver, changing careers, or looking for flexible work, our 16-hour course provides hands-on training, role-play, real-life service scenarios, and mindset development. Students practice the core skills expected in the first month of work in restaurants, cafés, bars, or catering.
Shorter advanced courses are available to help participants level up, move into better roles, and earn promotions.
