Mobilinx - Hazel McCallion Line
The 18-kilometre Hazel McCallion Line will bring a new, environmentally friendly and reliable method of transportation to a rapidly growing region. The new transit system will feature 19 stops, travel through two urban growth centres and connect to major transit systems including GO Transit (Milton and Lakeshore West lines), the Mississauga Transitway, Brampton Transit, ZUM and MiWay. The Hazel McCallion Line will operate in its own dedicated lane ensuring a smooth, reliable and convenient ride along the region’s busiest street.
As Mississauga and Brampton expands with new residents, businesses and amenities, sustainable and reliable transit becomes vital. The Hazel McCallion Line will operate with clean, electrically powered light rail vehicles, producing near zero emissions. So, not only does the LRT line get cars off the road, but it’s a more sustainable, environmentally conscious way to travel!

- terms of probation of up to three years
- conditional sentences of up to two years
48th Highlanders of Canada
48th Highlanders of Canada
The 48th Highlanders are a reserve infantry regiment located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The unit was founded in 1891 and has been serving Canadians to the present day. Today the regiment serves in three roles:
Firstly, the 48th Highlanders operates in service to Canadians. This is the unit’s primary role, linking the civilian lives of each of its soldiers and the location of the regiment to communities surrounding it. Under Canada Command tasks or when called out under "Aide to the Civil Power", the 48th Highlanders have served across the breadth and width of our country.
Secondly, the 48th augments the Regular Forces in support of operations outside of Canada. Members have served overseas during the last 100 years and continue to serve around the world today.
Finally, in the event of a declaration of war, the Reserves form a framework for mobilization. The 48th Highlanders of Canada have earned 49 battle honours in three wars.
