The Public Service Commission helps make sure the Government of Nova Scotia has the people and skills needed to create and provide programs and services. The commission is responsible for developing human resource management policies, programs, standards and procedures to help create an engaged, productive and diverse workforce. We oversee collective bargaining and provide advice on employee relations matters.
We also manage employee recruitment and work with other departments to help make the Government of Nova Scotia a preferred employer.

The Career Foundation
The Career Foundation
The Career Foundation is a results-oriented not-for-profit charitable organization (charity #122659048 RR 0001) that has been connecting job seekers to jobs since 1988.
We ensure that community members who are in need and face barriers to employment are provided with job search support, skills training, and resources to help them secure employment. We coordinate wraparound and life stabilization services with various community partners, and engage with employers to develop job opportunities and connect people to work.
Currently operating from seven locations across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, and delivering services virtually across Canada, we help thousands of people accomplish their employment goals each year.
